Duke Basketball Game

The best trip I have ever been on was to Duke University to see Duke play Wake Forest in basketball.  My youngest son and I got tickets to the game for a Christmas present.  We spent all day at Duke University; taking in the campus, shopping, watching the game and getting players autographs.  It was an amazing trip and my youngest will agree with me.

U.S. National Whitewater Center

The day trip to the Whitewater Center in Charlotte, NC was so much fun.  We did not go rafting, but it was fun to watch other people do it and watch them tip over.  The Whitewater Center has a lot of fun family activities besides rafting and kayaking.  They have rock climbing, zip lines, trails to explore, and obstacle courses.  Out next trip here we are going to do the zip lines.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

The beach is one of our favorite family place to go.  We go to the beach at least one time a year.  This year we went to Myrtle Beach, SC.  The boys had a blast.  We took them to MagiQuest and they loved it.  The trip was great and lots of memories were made.

Cleveland County Fair, Part 2

After what seemed like a long evening at the Cleveland County Fair it was time to sit, relax, and watch the monster truck show.  We had never seen anything like this, live.  The boys loved it and sat in their seats with their eyes locked on the big, noisy trucks.  The even at the fair was a lot of fun and I'm glad we got to have a family night out.

Cleveland County Fair

The whole family went to the Cleveland County Fair on Thursday, October 3.  The boys had so much fun and after 5 hours they were ready to go.  I enjoyed the dogs that could do tricks and the deep fried Oreo's.  The boys had so much fun riding all the scary looking rides and eating all the different varieties of food.
